WHY!

yes I'm begging for an answer, why little red riding hood why...

i'm sure some of you guys probably have heard about this...

recently a certain video on the internet has emerged and caught the eye of many people and has to me shown how evil humans can be....The video shows this girl in a red jacket, having so much fun throwing SIX poor puppies into a river for god knows what reason, and everyone is on the hunt for her now.

Honestly it has left me speechless and if I could get a hand on that girl i'd probably throw her into a river as well, we still do not know why she did, and whats the point, maybe she wants attention but she probably forgot how protective we all are over animals and the rights we have given to animals. What was going through her mind with this? What was she trying to prove and why did she even do such a bad thing and put it on the internet?

Users of the popular website 4chan are now searching through social networking sites, and asking around if anyone might know who that girl is and they're planning to get her good! Though you may think that its impossible but 4chan users previously managed to reveal the identitiy of a British woman that was seen caught on a CCTV throwing a poor cat into a rubbish bin before closing the lid and running away.

It has been discovered that this girl comes from a town in Bosnia and that town has now become the primary suspected location of this girl.

Rewards are being offered now for anyone who can locate this girl, so for those of you guys up for a game of cat and mouse, and are looking for some extra cash, look no further!:D

Well im sure i speak for everyone when i say no matter what, this girl should be given NO second chance and should be punished heavily for her evil actions! its understandable if she threw a dead puppy, but throwing six new borns is just sick!

I mean look at them puppies, how could you do such a thing? :(

I remind you, please watch at your own risk, VIDEO OF GIRL THROWING PUPPIES INTO RIVER

Empty..

That's what i can say if u asked me what feelings i have on this day, i feel empty.

No it is nothing about a girl, its not about my parents...its about this amongst many other things related to this topic...

I'm sure everyone here knows about his latest hit song, Sucks Banana that was directed at the headmistress of a school in Johor over her racist remarks against the Chinese and Indians. Surprisingly i've not seen any stern action taken against her but this poor man was caught for just expressing his unhappiness over the incident. Yeah his negarakuku song was wrong but he showed NOTHING false in that song and everything in it was TRUE. why isit so hard for some people to be open minded and ACCEPT the fact and CHANGE, or why cant everyone just laugh about it and don't be so sensitive, if everyone's gonna be so sensitive to every single thing and treat everything as a racial remark we're not gonna go far. He wrote the song to show how the the Indian and Chinese communities feel towards her remarks and to make a point, that we should be respected! Though it was wrong but he was left with no choice!

I think it is something i was thought as a child, you get respected if you respect another. Now i'm not targetting anyone at all, if the Malays would respect the Chinese and Indians, the Chinese respect the Malays and Indians, and the Indians respect the Chinese and Malays and every single person shows that they deserve to be respected through their modesty and honest acts this would be paradise.

And why is it wrong for someone to speak up his mind, if the headmistress could say such things without being, namewee can too! If we respect each other none of this would happen, if we're sincere none of this would happen, if we're equal none of this would happen.

Traffic Jam

So i was going through /k/ the Kopitiam section of the famour Lowyat.net Forum and a pretty interesting post caught my eye..

So has this ever happened to you, you're late for something, and you're rushing only to find that there's a massive traffic jam ahead of you and there's no way you can turn away from it?
And so you wait in the car cursing at your bad luck and wondering what's causing this jam...in most cases in Malaysia you'll soon come to know that an accident occured on the OPPOSITE road and the people on your road are just slowing down and looking at that accident and causing a jam...and then you curse yourself more...

But anyway the point is we have to be grateful that our traffic jams don't end up like the traffic jam going on in China since 14 AUGUST 2010 and as of yesterday it recorded a 9 day crawl! And merchants ended up making money from this buy selling water and food at high prices to the passengers of the cars...

The news from Google goes...

BEIJING — Thousands of vehicles were bogged down Monday in a more than 100-kilometre (62-mile) traffic jam leading to Beijing that has lasted nine days and highlights China's growing road congestion woes.

The Beijing-Tibet expressway slowed to a crawl on August 14 due to a spike in traffic by cargo-bearing heavy trucks heading to the capital, and compounded by road maintenance work that began five days later, the Global Times said.

and
Traffic slowed to a snail's pace in June and July for nearly A MONTH, according to earlier press reports.

Here's the picture of the jam

See, there are worst days out there for other people and therefore we should be grateful that our traffic jams here only cause us to be late for our meetings and appointments for like only 20 minutes...you don't wanna be calling your boss or mom and telling them you'll be late by about a week or two because your stuck in a jam rite?

So What Do You See?

1 out of 3 drivers can't guess what it means, it is a warning sign that lights up in your car panel. Still got no idea? Well its sad to say I'm one of the 3 drivers, it's a low tire pressure warning!

Yes, to those that figured it out, congratulations and celebrations, you're not an idiot as that warning sign was supposed to be idiot proof. Yes it has become somewhat of an issue as most people can't figure out this idiot proof warning that lights up when the pressure in your car tyre is 25% below the recommended pressure.

This system now is required in every car starting with the 2008 models and drivers are being urged to learn what the sign means as we all know how much danger low tyre pressures can put you in.

And I wonder how I passed my driving exam =p

Light

Like what you see?

Do you know what you're seeing?

They're bioluminescent jellyfish that live in the deep regions of the sea
There are also other species of animals that produce their own light even on land such as, insects, and fungi.

These creatures produce a chemical called luceferin that chemically reacts with oxygen to produce light!

It's interesting when you read about these kinda stuff on the internet, while reading about bioluminescence I found out that scientists have proposed ideas to genetically modify certain organisms with these light emitting genes for a variety of uses,

  • Trees that emit light to be places along the roads and highways to replace lamposts thus reducing electrical consumption
  • Light producing Christmas trees to reduce electrical fires
  • Novelty pets such as rabbits, dogs that emit their own light
  • Crops that illuminate when they need watering
I've only one reaction to that LOL

I must say I would love to see most of it come true but not much of the lighted up pets as it would just be very weird to see a rabbit that looks like this in your cage...

That's a real rabbit by the way, genetically modified, looks like a rabbit covered with some glowing toxic waste or something, anyway here's the article on it, ARTICLE

Till next time, bye!

Thinking of learning a new language?

Try ESPERANTO!

Why Esperanto?

Various educators have estimated that Esperanto can be learned in anywhere from one quarter to one twentieth the amount of time required for other languages.
- Means it is a language that you need the least time to learn!

It is the most widely spoken international auxiliary language - a language meant for communication between people from different nations who do not share a common native language.

This language even has its own flag...

So in short, Esperanto was created by this man known as L. L Zamenhof, a Polish - Jewish ophthalmologist in the late 1870s and early 1880s

There were previous attempts of forming states or countries that used this language

- plans in the early 20th century to establish Neutral Moresnet as the world's first Esperanto State.

Neutral Moresnet at that time was a condominium that existed between present day Belgium and Germany, no its not a building, in terms of international law a condominium is a territory where two or more independent powers share equally and apply their rights jointly.

- The self proclaimed artificial island micro-nation of Rose Island adopted Esperanto as its official language.

What is micro-nation?
entities that claim to be independent nations or states but which are not recognized by world governments or major international organizations.
Example, The Principality of Sealand and the Republic of Rose Island.

These micro-nations really make me laugh, for example this is Rose Island

I'm serious! That is a nation lol! With its own flag and everything!

Well who knew from Esperanto I would end up talking about Micro nations, many interesting things in this world that we do not know about eh?

HU

Okay I'm no preacher, but I found something interesting on you-tube, and I know that does not come to you guys as much of a surprise because you-tube is filled with interesting things.

So anyway,

HU

The Sound of All Sounds.

OKAY this all comes from this relatively new religious movement that began in 1965, its just RELATIVELY new with most religions dating back 2000 years ago.

So the leader of this movement known as the ECK Master, he is not the prophet that is worshiped or anything but more like a figure that is respected as a leader. This religion of course has a primary belief in GOD and. The ECK Master acts like a spiritual guide for followers in their own spiritual progress. People that practice Eckankar are known as Eckists!

Eckankar means "Co-worker with God" and it lets its followers to experience what its followers call "the Light and Sound of God.", HU!

HU is just one of the many mantras used in Eckankar.

In brief HU means God in Sufism (the inner, mystical dimension of Islam), or also means HE, it is normally used in accordance to the word Allah as Allah HU meaning (God, Just He!)

So HU lets u realize your innerself and soul and lets u get in close touch with eternal peace and with constant chanting of HU everyday you can achieve eternal bliss.

Eckists, normally chant HU for 15-20 minutes a day!

MY VIEW

I must say its something very interesting, and the word Eckankar sounds a lot like Ek- Ongkar a word used in the religion I practice, Sikhism, and it means "One God".

The song of HU really keeps my mind at ease and makes me feel a lot less stressed up! I might just listen to it everyday in the morning :D

You're A Geek, I'm A Gleek that GLEEKS!

Yes today, I'm gonna tell you how the phrase I'm A Gleek can mean a totally different thing!

Because I've discovered that Gleek is not only a word used to describe some outcast member of society in a GLEE CLUB but instead it is a VERB!

What am I talking about?

Gleeking - simply put, is the action of intentionally compressing your tongue on your sub mandibular gland this part of your mouth here to project a spray of saliva!

Don't worry this isn't a biology lesson, and I'm no biology teacher, but thats what gleeking is.

For those of you who are still blur, has this ever happened to you?

Scenario - while you're eating or sucking something, or even yawning, suddenly this stream of saliva squirts out of your mouth like a small tiny spray hose spraying water, or probably a tiny leak in a water bottle?

Yes? No?

This might help, (you're strictly advised NOT to watch this if you've just eaten)

So yes that is gleeking, and here is how you can gleek at home! There are many ways to it but i find this the easiest to follow ( I still can't do it) . Source : WikiHow

Step
  1. Feel under your tongue with the tip of your tongue or your finger. You should feel one little bump, and this is your saliva gland. Technically, it's the sub mandibular gland.
  2. Yawn or eat sour candy to concentrate in the gland. If you use candy, make sure it is a hard candy or gum like a lollipop or a Warhead. Mustard also works very well. You can also build pressure in your saliva glands by rubbing the tip or side of your tongue against a sharp edge of your teeth. Something about the sensation it gives to your tongue builds the pressure in the gland, like you are eating food that makes you salivate.
  3. Get in front of a mirror, so you can observe if you've gleeked slightly.
  4. Push your jaw out as far as you can
  5. Push the tip of your tongue just behind the one bump under your tongue. Push it down hard and let go.
HAVE FUN GLEEKING!

Say Cheese!

But cheese isn't all fun in Nantwich, Cheshire, and it certainly wasn't on Wednesday when the Palme D'Or (International Cheese Awards), a dairy product equivalent of the Oscars, kicked off.

A recent surge in interest of local Brits in this event have tipped experts to estimate that a rough 30,000 people would attend the festival. The sudden high level of interest has been possibly due to the big influence TV chefs have had on the local chefs and housewives!

Weird as it may seem, there is even British Cheese Board (BCB) set up for all cheesing purposes! A study carried out by the board have concluded that he British consume some 600,000 tonnes of the product each year, or 10kg per person - but this is still only about half as much as consumers in Germany, France, Italy and Greece manage to put away!

The UK are currently the world's major cheese-producing country and with cheese forged previously practically in the backyards of the British, they're now looking forward to catch up in the cheese market! An estimated 700 varieties of cheese are being produced in the UK!

With more that 3,000 entries from 24 different countries, the judges certainly have a lot to do.

A winning cheese is determined by its consistency, good texture, and an even balance of flavors.

Who would've guess cheese is becoming such a serious business these days, hmmm maybe its about time us Malaysians took something forged in OUR backyards more seriously too, Ramly Burger competition anyone? :D I'd love to be a judge for that :D!

That could just be the winner right there!

Oh Snap! Fergie!

No not fergie from Black Eyed Peas, I'm talking about Sir Alex Ferguson!

Is the man getting old and loosing his mind or something?

First take a look at this, Manchester United impressively beat Celtic 1-0 in Toronto, Canada and proudly claimed that the victory was due to his new breed of youngsters which he quoted saying ‘They will eventually be the next Manchester United.'

Yeah at first thought being an Man Utd fan myself i was happy and delighted over the fact that Fergie still has it and isn't becoming an old grumpy man and the future of Man Utd still looks bright under his control!

BUT...well there's always a BUT...

then Man Utd lost to Kansas City Wizards 2-1 in a match which to me on the screen looked as if it was played on a toy playground...everything looked so tiny and toy-like! FYI the match was played in Arrowhead Stadium located in Kansas City, Missouri.

back to my point, now i go to ESPN SOCCERNET
and my eyes suddenly stumble upon THIS.....okay I'm having trouble resizing the picture so i'll just put what i saw in words...

Ferguson blames youngsters for shock loss

Now come on Fergie, what is your stand?

"I thought the inexperience of the defenders showed in the first 15 minutes." he said in an interview after the match.
"Our possession of the ball today was ragged at times. Normally we are much better. That will come hopefully with the games.'' also he said.

I'm pretty interested in his claim that "Normally we are much better"
Reason being he is right if the WE referred to Ronaldo, the young Giggs, the fit Ferdinand, the long-lost Tevez...and i believe the current situation seems to be far away from the normal WE.

Well i guess the old man had to loose it some day and i guess today was the day! Or maybe he had lost it all this while, when he decided to sell RONALDO, and became a miser and bought MICHAEL OWEN....well i things certainly look bleak for Man Utd and with a pretty elusive owner like Malcolm Glazer i believe there's plenty more upsets that Man Utd will reveal this coming EPL season and Rooney might just have to live in a trailer next year.

THEY DID IT!

Hip Hip Hooray !! Hip hip Hooray!! Now let me hear u say it, HIP HIPP? =D

you may be wondering, Who did What right? Well Malaysia beat Korea 1-0 in a friendly just hours ago in a wet, drench and pretty much empty Bukit Jalil Stadium!

Its a big deal, hell YES!
For the past years Malaysian football has received tremendous amounts of scrutiny from basically every single Malaysian, everyone questioned why is this happening , who caused this, what is the problem...well put those questions aside because we're shining brightly right now and thanks to Safiq Rahim we can celebrate again! :D

I only saw the only goal of the match and well the wetness of everything did play a part but Safiq really played the ball well and managed to get past two Koreans in such a tight space and got the shot off well

Skeptics might claim that you know, the Koreans didn't field their World Cup squad but hey so what? Malaysia does not even have any World Cup experienced players to field at all, thus making this a pretty fair encounter.. but but oh the weather was against the Koreans! More crap, as if it doesn't rain in Korea....

And thus the MAXIS World Cup advertisement that showed the little kids playing in the rain and mud really made its point on this rainy day =D

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, its this ad right here

MAXIS WORLD CUP AD

So i guess its congratulations and celebrations for this young and potential filled Malaysian team!

Its historic but i hope it goes on a long long way from here and doesn't stop here for Malaysia! And I'd love to see us fans support the team more!

All the best team :D

And i love this Nike ad, i know its old but it fits the occasion :D

Jaguh Kampung

When it comes down to sports i must say i am relatively proud to be a Malaysian..lets see what has happened in the Malaysian sports world recently...

1. Datuk Nicol Ann David - Squash -2010 CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championships
She beat Camille Serme of France in only under 30 minutes to qualify for the semi finals against Alison Waters of England.

2. The Malaysian national hockey team - friendly / practice
In a somewhat thrilling hockey match, the Malaysian team beat Australian club champion West Australian Thunder Stick 3-1! To be honest i first thought the lost 3-1...but after realising the truth i felt this rush and pride for our nation (something that rarely happens to me). This visit to Perth was to prepare the Malaysian team for the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and the Olympic Games in London...well i would like to wish our team GOODLUCK!

3.Malaysia vs Republic of Korea

Date: 25 July 2010, 5.15pm (kick off)

Venue: National Stadium Bukit Jalil

Wow...pretty nostalgic eh?

Yes its happening this SUNDAY!

Its difficult to deny that Malaysia now have lost the once fear they put in the hearts of fellow Asian football teams but this Sunday's clash would be a good chance to claim glory for the lads..

The malaysian squad recently were impressive in their 3-0 victory over S-League club Beijing Guoan Talent FC that took place in preparation for the big one this Sunday..

Well its fair to say the Malaysian team does have a chance as the Koreans will not be having the players that played in the recent South Africa World Cup...so all we can do is hope and pray that Malaysians after a long time be proud of its nation's footballing team once again!

The local squad would definitely have confidence for this Sundays match as they got Gold in the recent Sea Games and also with a home advantage, I must say the odds are really with them this time and it would be disappointing to see them fail and I'm sure it would make the previous great national team which beat the Koreans to venture into the Olympic Games just as devastated...maybe I'm being too harsh but its time for us to buck up! =D

SO, I hope to see Malaysia climb up the ladder towards a much anticipated success, with that its goodbye and goodnight from sporty-feet =)

Joe Cole LIVERPOOL

Ahhh....old king cole...this is probably the big story in the run up to the upcoming EPL season....well with an already down the hill career i guess its no better place to make it WORST than in Liverpool...he couldn't have decided on a better team to prove that he's another english flop...but who knows...new manager Roy Hodgson probably has something to prove bringing him in and that old king cole might help the wreckage left behind by Benitez....

Roy Hodgson does have a lot to do with this Liverpool side and its pretty tiring being a Liverpool manager too

I know i'm being biased doing this but lets list down the issues Hodgson has to deal with here this season based on Rafa's experience:
1. Plenty of hairloss...Rafa never had hair...
2. Gain in weight...well Rafa was never thin either...
3. Not being able to smile anymore
4. Reducing Kop FLops..

Well we will never know the reason for these Kop Flops isit a curse? or isit something that won't end till the fat man sings?

Nevertheless, i bid a good day to you all with hope that Liverpool can pull off a few new tricks next season :D
